Agency chief indicted for fraud involving Lee Min Ho

A management agency chief was booked without detention Tuesday for allegedly tricking people to invest in the making of actor Lee Min-ho’s photobook and embezzling the money.

The man, identified only by his surname Kim, heads an agency which name begins with the letter “S.” Further details were withheld.

According to the prosecutors, Kim took a total of 600 million won ($516,000) from a victim under a false promise of large returns for the sales of Lee Min-ho’s photos. The prosecutors’ probe revealed that Kim intended to allocate only a part of the investment money on the photobook production and use the rest to pay off his personal debts.
